For the character creation for Pirate101, I worked directly with the Creative Director and Art Director to design a user interface that was simple enough for both adults and small children to understand. We decided that arrow buttons were the  solution for most options due to their simplicity and visual nature. The UI assets were created using a combination of Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator.
